Claire Watson // Bridal Portraits

Where do I even start? Sweet, funny, empathetic, adventurous, ridiculous, beautiful, strong, college roomie - these are just a few words to describe one of my best friends, Claire. Claire and I actually first met in high school through mutual friends (there’s a super embarrassing picture of the two of us in matching turquoise fuzzy Patagonia pullovers from that day somewhere on the internet lol), but little did I know that this funny girl would one day end up being one of my college roommates and one of my best friends. The memories and laughs I have with this friend are endless (mostly revolving around memes of The Office or late night episodes of Friends). She truly is my one friend I can always laugh with, but who has the best listening ear of anyone I know. She will fight someone on your behalf or be your hype girl whenever you need one, and I love her so much for all these things & more. We’ve been through a lot together in the past few years , and it’s been such a sweet season to see Claire so happy being with a guy that loves her so well and encourages her adventurous spirit.

Last night, Claire married the man of her dreams & it was such an honor to stand beside her as she said I do. Yesterday was the most stress free day and was filled with joy from beginning to end as we all celebrated Claire and Buck finally becoming husband and wife!

I am so thankful for my friendship with Claire and I was so excited to be asked to take her bridal portraits. She wanted to take her pictures somewhere bright with lots of color, so we chose the Furman Rose Garden. It was absolutely perfect since it was peak season for the pink roses which were in bloom all around Claire as we made our way around the garden. With these pictures I’m so happy to introduce my friend Mrs. Claire Brown to you all! Claire, you are beautiful inside & out and I can’t wait to be friends for many more years and many more seasons of life to come!
