Kelsey + John Clifton // Engagement Blog

I'm so excited to share these pictures because this session was so scenic & dreamy to do for Kelsey & John Clifton! When Kelsey reached out to me about shooting her wedding next year I knew immediately that I wanted to work with this couple and be friends with them. I’ve loved to hear about their beautiful story and how they've grown so much in their relationship throughout their time in college together. I can't wait to be a part of their special day next April! For their engagement session, they wanted to do photos at John Clifton's family's lake house because it holds so many special memories for them. They both have spent lots of time there while they dated & John Clifton actually proposed to Kelsey on the dock. So it not only made so much sense to do their pictures there, but it was the perfect spot since that place means so much to them! We took pictures down by the water & on the dock and then we went up to this gorgeous overlook where you can see the mountains & the lake which was the most perfect spot for some sunset pictures. Kelsey is so stylish and picked a perfect mix of cute and casual outfits! This couple is just so cute and they were the easiest and sweetest people to take pictures of, which makes my job all the more fun!
