Taylor + Halie Lamb // Wedding

The Lambs — such a sweet + special couple! Halie was a Clemson cheerleader and we met in college when we both served on an FCA team together. I remember her telling me about a boy she had been set up on a date with and how they were getting to know each other. A few months later I remember asking her how it was going and she had doubts of seeing it working out in the future, and honestly wasn’t interested. Little did she know it would all turn around and that guy would become her future husband! Not long after she told me that, Taylor reached out to her again and he started to really pursue her. By spring of 2018, he was down on one knee, asking Halie to marry him! It’s crazy how God has such a different plan for our life sometimes. Even when we think things aren’t going the way we want or had planned, He has a way bigger picture in store for us! Taylor was also a former quarterback for Appalachian State, so to say the least they made all my movie dreams of a cheerleader and quarterback love story come true! I got to shoot their engagement pictures last year as well and those were such a fun time. We shot in downtown Greenville and it was my first time meeting Taylor! He was such a perfect partner for Halie, and it made me so happy seeing how happy they made each other. I could really see how much he cared for her and as a friend that made me love him even more! When Halie asked me to be a part of their wedding day, I could not have been more excited! It’s so beautiful and fun to take pictures of anyone on their happy day, but it made it even more special that it was a friend of mine. I got to see their relationship progress and go through all the sweet phases of her finding the person she was going to spend her life with. Soon their wedding day was right around the corner and I was so excited for their big day! From start to finish, the whole day was FULL of the tender moments and emotions. Such sweet moments were shared when she was getting ready with her Mom and bridesmaids, and when she had her first look with her Dad. A day filled with smiles and laughter + tears of happiness and joy. The first look with Taylor right before the ceremony was of course one of my favorite moments of the whole day! His reaction was full of pure joy that this beautiful bride was about to be HIS wife! They were both so happy and giddy to spend the day together but this was such a special time for them to spend by themselves. They read each other’s letters and got to pray together and really be in the moment with each other on the most special day of their life. Not long after, Halie was walking down the aisle to Taylor, each of them truly glowing! I had tears in my eyes as I watched my beautiful friend walk down to her husband. Their reception was such a fun time and a huge party full of great food, drinks and lots of dancing! Halie and all her fellow Clemson cheerleaders even performed to the Tiger Rag together. Their special day was so sweet— filled with the most beautiful details, tender moments, and fun with the people they love most! Wishing the Lambs all the best as they embark on this journey of life + love together!
