Katie + Patrick Hunter // Wedding Preview

Doing something a little different and sharing some previews from Katie + Patrick’s wedding this past weekend! Not only is Katie one of the most beautiful brides, but truly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met… when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was over the moon excited! It was such a special and sweet day to get to be apart of. From the very beginning of the day, to the end, it was filled with the most sentimental and special details. Katie and all her bridesmaids got to get ready at her parents house— a place filled with millions of memories growing up. We got to get some pictures of her getting dressed in her childhood room and did the first look with her dad on the steps of her house where she used to walk down and say “Good Morning Daddy!”— truly a surreal moment! Katie wore an heirloom necklace that has been in her family since the early 1900’s. It has been passed through generations of women in her family, having her mom and all of her grandmothers before her wear it on their wedding day as well. Her family’s church where the ceremony was held was so beautiful and quaint, surrounded by old oak trees and Spanish moss. It was such a perfect spot for Low country wedding! Katie + Patrick did a first touch and it was so sweet for them to have this moment to pray together and read letters they wrote each other. Both of them were so emotional as they held hands and could not wait to finally be husband and wife. Right before it was time to walk down the aisle, all of Katie’s best friends, family members, and some of her mom’s special lifelong friends, held hands and prayed over her. This prayer was full of thankfulness and joy, praying for blessings and abundance of love in Katie + Patrick’s new life together. The whole day was full of pure happiness from beginning to end and it was the most fun to be apart of! You can see it in all the smiles on everyone's faces, in the sparkle in Katie's eyes, and in the way Patrick looks at her— I can't wait to finish editing this wedding so I can share even more pictures + relive memories from this beautiful day!
