Emily + Micahel Wilmot // North Carolina Wedding

This wedding was nothing short of a stunning Carolina summer wedding day! Michael and Emily are two of the most outgoing, fun spirited, kind hearted people I have ever taken pictures of and their excitement and emotions about becoming husband and wife were so evident throughout this day. Emily had so much fun getting ready, dancing to her favorite music and doing a sweet first look with her bridesmaids as the day got started. She has a great style and an eye for elegant but modern details which came together so beautifully for her day. I was a big fan of her bridesmaids' dresses and I have never seen a wedding dress like her's. I thought the sleek, cross tie, open back dress was so stunning on her! After getting ready, Emily could not wait for the day to get started and she kept jumping up and down saying “I’m just sooooo excited! I can’t wait to see him!” Her joy was unmatched on this day and the two of them could not stop smiling, being giggly, and just enjoying their time with each other in every moment. Even though it stormed most of their day, there were breaks in the rain that made for some stunning pictures and these two didn't let the weather add any stress to their special day. Their ceremony was so meaningful and emotional for them as they said their vows in front of so many loved ones. This wedding day was the perfect combination of intimate and a big celebration, and Emily and Micahel were so intentional about spending time with each other and their families and friends throughout their day.  To say the least, I’m a big fan of the Wilmots! I hope I keep taking pictures of people who love like they do forever.
