Megan + Matt // Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement

I'm not lying when I say this session includes some of my favorite engagement pictures I have ever taken - I know, that's a bold statement but it's true! I met Megan and Matt a few weeks ago for the first time for a drink to get to know each other before we went up the Blue Ridge Parkway and into the mountains to take their engagement pictures. As soon as I met these two, I knew we were going to have the best time together shooting their engagement pictures! They are both so kind, personable, and easy going and I had such a great time getting to know them and hanging out with them. I always say, if we can spend several hours together in the car and taking pictures and still have things to talk about then we are going to be good friends, which was definitely the case with Megan and Matt as we drove along the Blue Ridge Parkway together pulling off at different overlooks to take some scenic pictures of the two of them! They are big outdoors and adventure loving people so the mountains couldn’t have been a more perfect place for their engagement pictures. They will be getting married in Asheville next spring which I cannot wait for! I loved getting to spend time with them and hearing all about their crazy love story about how they were actually in the same friend group in high school and reconnected years later after college and started dating. All and all we had a great time adventuring together and I really feel like these photos capture their love and unique style so perfectly!
